To meet the goal I chose one of my initials, B, and put a three-dimensional twist on it. The large B in the foreground of the peace is the strongest area of the work. On the other hand, the B in the background wasn't exactly what I interpreted it to be. I was aiming for a somewhat faded, 3D effect and in someways I achieved this but not to the standards I desired. Three strong elements in my image are the gradient, paintbrush, and the bottom left stripes. The gradient mixes well with the letters themselves and the paintbrush adds some texture to it. The stripes add an eye-popping concept into the image. Still being a rookie to Photoshop, I think I performed to the best of my abilities so far, if I were to change anything I would just have to learn more tricks because I believe I made the best I could with what I've been given.
I like how you sort of reflected the B and the way it looks more faded away.
